Paws 4 Hydrotherapy is based in Stapleford Nottingham and run by Anne Westwood. Anne has always had a keen interest in working with animals especially dogs. Her first experience of canine hydrotherapy was at the age of 16 whilst carrying out work experience as part of her Btec National Diploma in Animal Care.
Anne then went on to study at Chester University where in 2005 she graduated with a Bsc (hons) Animal Behaviour degree. During her time in Chester she worked with a variety of animals including a placement at Chester Zoo working with Giraffes. Anne then started working in a hydrotherapy centre and in 2010 opened up Paws 4 Hydrotherapy. Since then she has carried out all the relevant training and now has a Level 3 Certificate in Small Animal Hydrotherapy. Regular CPD training is completed to keep up to the most recent developments in canine hydrotherapy. Anne has grown up with dogs or various breeds from a basset hound to a three legged whippet. She currently owns 2 dogs, a small scruffy terrier called Audrey and and energetic young rottweiler Mabel. She is used to handling all sizes and ages!
